After lunch with a good friend, we both headed down to the japanese supermarket to hunt for nat-to or fermented soybeans. It's probably like comfort food and what the japanese usually have for breakfast along with rice. I couldn't decide which brand to get as there were so many and so a japanese lady came along, took one and I just follow suit.I remember the first time I tried it in the uk and I didn't really like the taste, it's kinda like durians, either you love it or you loathe it. After awhile, having been convinced by my japanese colleagues (it's supposedly good for health and has fibrinolytic properties), I decided to give it a try. I guess it's sort of acquired taste after some time and it's not so bad afterall, I'm actually beginning to like it.
Perhaps, sometimes we just need to give ourselves a second chance to try out new things.
